Our Story

Therese Zetterberg is a Swedish born designer with a background in fashion. Her trademark style is a bold combination of playfulness, timeless and couture glamour. Therese’s striking style has created a successful concept which launched two of her accompanying fashion brands, Zetterberg Couture and Lily and Rose. Since Zetterberg Couture launched, Therese has been designing exclusive couture dresses for the Swedish Royal family, as well as many A-list stars and bespoke bridal pieces. Lily and Rose was established with the ethos to produce jewellery with character, creating stunning jewellery for remarkable people. Character stemming from passion and humour from the craftsman, designer and ultimately the customer who wears the piece. The name of the brand originated from the TV series Sex and the City, following the lives of four fashionable women living in New York City. One of the main characters is Charlotte York Goldenblatt, who names her two daughters Lily and Rose.

Lily and Rose is an independent jewellery brand founded in 2012 by Therese Zetterberg and Niklas Eriksson. Launched in Gothenburg, where the head office is still based, it quickly became one of the best selling fashion jewellery brands in Sweden. Today you will be able to spot many of our designs, worn by our breathtaking customers on the streets of Sweden. A decade later, Lily and Rose have established an office and studio in London, in the hope to provide our UK customers with exclusive shopping experiences and exceptional customer support. All Lily and Rose jewellery is created in Seoul, South Korea, where we work closely with a family owned business whom have over 30 years of experience in handcrafting jewellery. At Lily and Rose, we value the importance of exemplary craftsmanship and have built a partnership with the company for over 10 years. The brand prides itself in producing high-quality jewellery and regularly visits the workshop to monitor production, ensuring the finest original pieces. As a company, we have always worked ethically with a good set of base values. This has helped build our reputation as a brand and success over the years. We also pride ourselves in having a good working environment for our employees and this is evident as all our staff have been part of the Lily and Rose journey for at least 5 years. We, at Lily and Rose, understand the importance that all employees are paid and treated fairly and can guarantee that The 10 principles of the United Nations Global Compact are followed.
